Five Parsecs from Home

The Argo is a two century old freighter, whose robust design has ensured it is still exploitable, if by now a little outdated. Ostracised from the city of Iolcos after political manoeuvres within his family, the ambitious Jason fell in love with the old lady at first sight.  He poured almost all of the fortune he had managed to flee with into purchasing, repairing, upgrading and embellishing the vessel. All that remained was to set about recruiting the Argonauts themselves, which did not prove so difficult in these troublesome and adventurous times.   To fit their needs, the Argonauts have transformed the majority of the cargo space into crew quarters.  The ship can comfortably carry a complement of twenty five humans and ten robots, twice that at a pinch, and needs five crew to second the onboard AI and maintain the key systems.  It is not fitted with offensive weapons, but does carry a wide array of passive and active defensive measures, to ensure it is no ea...
